Who am I?
Bilingual and bicultural, I was born and lived in the United States for over 15 years, as well as in England and Switzerland before arriving in France over 20 years ago. Fully immersed in a multicultural environment where uniqueness and differenciation were prioritized, I’ve always had a great curiosity for human development as well as exploring the complexities of human relations.
Following a start in Psychology and a Major in International Business in Paris, I very quickly realized that my work would direct me towards human related issues such a conflict resolution, active listening and support. After numerous years working in the fashion and design industry in multifaceted jobs (logistics, client support, event management, team management…), I started feeling out of place, finding it more and more difficult to set personal limits and fundamentally suffering from general life imbalance. I decided to devote my time to my family, discovering myself as a mother, going through family life with its many complexities. This lead me to question more seriously my relational dynamics.
When I started training in Gestalt therapy, I was confronted to parts of myself I didn’t want to see or even know. I was pushed to become more conscious of my relational patterns (past & present), slowly leaving "victim mode” and becoming more aware of how responsable I am of my choices. Through exploration and experimentation, I learned (and still am) how to side-step, allowing myself to be or do differently. These small, mundane yet intentional steps strongly impacted me and my environment which was fascinating to observe and feel into. As a certified Gestalt practionner, I am still training to become a certified therapist in this field as well as pursuing my own personal therapy and supervision.
It brings me so much joy to work in this field and be able to share it with you. I truly have at heart to welcome all, of all backgrounds and styles, to help you move through life’s complexities with more lightness and acceptance. My multicultural background, work and family/parental experience enables me to have a particular comprehension into the challenges women face in their daily lives (career, parenthood, gender identity, couple/intimacy, isolation, cultural differences, finding your place in society,…). I bring support in French and English in a safe, non judgmental and caring space. Don’t stay alone with your fears or obstacles. Give yourself the opportunity to be and do differently with more awareness.
LISTENING. CARE. NON JUDGMENT.
